Porsche AG was looking for a mobile charging solution for promotional events for
electric cars, the so-called Porsche World Roadshow. In other words, an
electrifying sustainable event initiative.
MOON POWER GmbH has teamed up with Salzburg-based container specialist Wingliner
GmbH to develop this container.
The mobile Porsche Charging Unit is a CSC-certified 20-foot high-cube sea freight
container that houses three MOON POWER Charger 150 units with a total capacity
of 450 kW on the right side of the container. All charging points have 6.5 m 400 A
cables with CCS2 connectors. A special feature is the Lorrygram infotainment
system. Content can be displayed on the front-mounted screen, which can be
continuously updated via the Internet if required.
This container can be shipped around the world.
The container's first deployment locations are in the Far East in the countries of
Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
